Each group runs their own programme of events, performances, workshops, talks, exhibitions, and social activities throughout the year. By sharing information and working together, FAN arts and culture groups can reach wider audiences and encourage collaboration across the local arts community.

Avon Valley Concerts
Avon Valley Concerts has existed for 41 seasons, offering a wide variety of first-class classical music concerts to enthusiastic audiences. Performers range from our president Leon McCawley, an internationally acclaimed pianist, to classical guitarist, Craig Ogden, quartets, wind ensembles and the Kammerphilharmonie of Europe, bringing the very best music to the Avon Valley.

New Forest Rhythmix plays jazz, popular, rhythm ‘n’ blues, soul and swing – a mix of rhythms to suit all occasions for parties, pubs and clubs.

Founded in 1946 by a group of artists including Augustus John RA, Fordingbridge Art Club welcomes artists of all abilities – from beginners to professionals – who enjoy a shared enthusiasm for art.

Regal Cinema
Fordingbridge Regal Cinema Club operates as a not-for-profit, volunteer-run community cinema in a beautiful Art Deco cinema with original 1930s foyer. Open to all, with an elegant bar and 30-seater auditorium (with Dolby Atmos and 4K projection) it hosts events and private hires and shows a variety of classic, modern and recent films.

Local history displays, including Turks Football Club and artist Augustus John, in an old granary in the centre of Fordingbridge. The museum has a thriving Friends organisation that organises events – a great way to meet new people and broaden your knowledge of local history.

Starcast Fordingbridge
Starcast is an award winning, all-inclusive friendly yet professional Performing Arts School for 4 – 18 year olds for all levels from beginner to advanced. Whether a child pursues a career in the performance industry or not, Starcast sets a foundation of life skills that will stay with them for years to come.

One Voice Choir
One Voice is a mixed choir with about 40 members. We meet to rehearse on Monday evenings in Avonway Community Centre, and sing in about six concerts each year. We sing a variety of music including pop, folk, show music and gospel. There is no audition, and new members are always welcome – just a willingness to learn and to join in and enjoy is all you need.

Forres Sandle Manor School
Forres Sandle Manor, an independent day and boarding school set in a 35-acre New Forest campus, offers a range of facilities to support community and creative use. Our sports hall/theatre has tiered seating, plus art, meeting, sports facilities and entrance spaces. We have a separate smaller building suitable for exhibitions, workshops, and small events.

Forest Edge Learning is a federation of three primary schools – Hale, Breamore, and Hyde – delivering inclusive, high-quality education through a shared curriculum that actively introduces students to the creative world. Our facilities are availble to FAN members as a resource venue.

For organisations looking to hold a meeting or event, clubs needing a venue, a sports teams looking for a regular space to train or host matches or looking to hold a private function, we have a wide variety of excellent facilities for hire.

Avon Valley Churches
Five church buildings are available for hire at Fordingbridge, Breamore, Hyde, Hale and Woodgreen. Also parish/church halls at Fordingbridge (on Church Street) and adjacent to the church at Hyde and a small chapel at Godshill.

Victoria Rooms
The Victoria Rooms is an important resource for the arts in Fordingbridge. Rooms include a large hall with stage, ideal for the performing arts, along with additional space for exhibitions and other activities.

Fordingbridge Town Hall
Built in the late 1800s the main hall holds 150 people seated and a garden is available for photographs. In the centre of town, parking is a short walk away.

Avonway Community Centre and The Annexe at Avonway
Nine rooms including a self-contained Annexe. A large hall, kitchen facilities and licensed bar are available to book for a variety of activities including clubs, meetings, conferences, exhibitions and events, as well as private parties, weddings and life celebrations.
